THE SHARD

The Shard is a 309.68 metre high skyscraper they are building in London, that will dramatically alter the skyline, the tower is steadily rising everyday, the 2 concrete cores and the concrete floors for the hotels and appartments are now complete, the workers are now preparing for using level 87 roof as a monorail on top of the now completed 6 triple height steel floors to lower the cladding down. More outside lifts have been removed on the lower office floors so the floors can be fully cladded for the final interior works. A couple of weeks ago the Shard's cladding ground to a halt because they ran out of glass. The current height of the Shard is 285.9 metres.
